The New Cainta Coliseum, now managed by the Golden Arena Promotions, is fast winning back the trust, confidence and patronage of cockers, derby fans and aficionados who have proven that the new management under Kap. Andy Abundo is determined to prove their commitment of order, fairness, respect for the cockers and strict implementation of cockfighting rules.

Among the most notable innovations is the Royale Rumble 12-Cock Karambola being held every Sunday afternoon as highlight of the Sunday pintakasi. The 12 competing roosters will be released simultaneously inside the ring for a free-for-all contest. The owner of the last cock standing wins P10,000.00 and 11 bihag or captured cocks. Entry fee is P1,200.
The public may participate by picking his choice of any of the 12 pre-numbered entered roosters. A winning bet of P100 gets P800, while, a P1,000 bet wins P8,000.
A new air-conditioned VIP section has been in place for the comfort of participants and mamamago, as well as renovated restrooms and ample parking space.
Meanwhile, all systems are go for the Special 3-Cock Derby set on Friday, January 30 with a cash prize of P300,000 for an entry fee of P5,500 and a minimum bet requirement of P5,500 hosted by Gerry (Cainta) & Gamay, assisted by Ricky David, Pato & Jocel. handler – P20,000; gaffer – P10,000, Submission of weights (1.800 – 2.400 kgs.) is on the day of the fight.
Also lined-up is the Pre-Valentine 4-Cocker on February 13, with a guaranteed cash prize of P400,000 for an entry fee of P6,600 and a minimum bet of P5,500, hosted by Bong Yam Sam & Aubrey.
