TODAY’S POULTRY & GAMEFOWL SHOW AT THE MEGATRADE HALL
The Philippine Poultry Show 2010 “The Egg and Chicken Plus the Game Fowl Show” will be held starting today, Friday, up to the 26th of September at the SM Megatrade Halls 1 and 2, Mandaluyong City. This is expected to be the biggest gathering of Egg Producers, Broiler Farmers and National Federation of Gamefowl Breeders together with their allies in the industry will highlight and showcase the significance of the Philippine Poultry and Gamefowl Industries participated by Egg Farmers from Luzon Visayas and Mindanao, as well as United Broiler Raisers Association members nationwide and game fowl breeders all over the Philippines.

At the forefront of the event is gamefowl feed and vetmed industry leader Thunderbird Power Feeds and its sister-division Sarimanok Poultry Feeds. 

Today, the NFGB, like last year, will stage a gamefowl auction and stag show and will have their general assembly at the venue which will be followed by the Thunderbird Variety Show with Francine Prieto and Thunderbird’s Francis Ong as hosts. Guest artists include Maureen Larrazabal and the Go Girls, highlighted with a surprise game called Sumo-Sabong.

Tomorrow, the 25th, Thunderbird will raise the curtain for the series of seminars lined up. The “Meet Your Sabong Heroes” of Thunderbird will be an open forum discussion with top cocker-breeders Dicky Lim, Edwin Arañez, Boy Marzo, Boy Tuazon, Joey Sy and Doc Teddy Tanchanco as panellists. This Thunderbird Winning Team seminar is set from 10:30 a.m. – 12 noon at the Megatrade Hall Function Room A. Breeding pullets and other premium Thunderbird items will be raffled off to seminar attendees.

In the afternoon tomorrow, Sarimanok Poultry will present the Chicken and Egg Painting contest for kids at the stage area from 2:30 – 5:00 p.m. coupled with a talk show that will feature noted guests from the poultry industry, hosted by Bobby Yan and Ruby Rodriguez.
