ALL SET FOR WORLD SLASHER FINALS TOMORROW

After the roster of finalists got completed last night, the stage is all set for tomorrow’s much-awaited championship of the record-breaking 2009 World Slasher Cup 8-Cock Invitational Derby that registered a total of 207 entries – the biggest ever.

Hosted by the Pintakasi of Champions, the 5-day cocking Olympics is sponsored by Thunderbird Platinum and Thunderbird Bexan XP.

As of press time, the 2nd semifinals action was still going on, however, the 1st day of semis netted only four entries with perfect scores of 4 points each and another four with 3 wins and 1 draw apiece.

Leading the pack is Iloilo’s Jezry Palmares (with T. Rañola) who scored 4 pts. in his entry Cherokee Archangel and 3.5 pts. in his second, JP Cherokee Kumul.

Equally impressive with 4-0 win-loss cards are German Thomas Mischkus (Alexis Farm – Germany), Max Roxas (Paniqui Max Feb 22 5-Cock and Jun Cuello/Gov. Plaza (EPJC Public Demand).

Meanwhile, Thunderbird top endorser Sonny Lagon with his phenomenal Sweater breeds posted 6 wins, 1draw and 1 loss after 8 matches via his entries Aquarius Blue Blade Farm SPC and Team Blue Blade Farm SPC.

Also with 3.5 points each are Atty. H. Capuchino (JPA Happy Birthday Kid Aki) and the team of Wilbert LeBlanc & Richard Harris (Yellow Rose –San Lorenzo).
