The first-ever DIGMAAN Pasabong Pambansa 9-Stag Derby begins today with the members of the Breeeders And Cockers Association of Zanorte (BACAZ) taking on each other for their local eliminations set at the Dipolog Coliseum with 34 entries set to see action led by their President Ricky Olviz.

Hosted by the Philippine Federation of Gamefowl Breeders, composed of 42-member-associations that include thewww.sabong.net.ph-based Cyberfriends, the two and a half month epic war of feathered-warriors is being held in cooperation with Thunderbird ENERGEL - the complete oral testosterone fomula.

The elims continue on October 16 at the San Roque Cockpit Arena in Marikina City among the Gamefowl Breeders Association of Rizal (GBAR) led by Coun. Elmer Nepomuceno.

Composed of 171 separate stag battles to be held from as far as Cagayan province in the north to as deep south as Basilan, the 1st Annual Digmaan “Pasabong Pambansa” 9-Stag Derby stakes a guaranteed cash prize of P10,000,000.00 for an easily affordable entry fee of P6,600. Minimum bet is P4,400 for local events and P5,500 for national stages. Derby format is 2-stag elims, 3-stag semis and 4-stag finals.

“We look forward to an action-packed event.Digmaan na!!! ”, says PFGB President Wilson Ong.

“Our target is 1,600 entries, although, based on our latest survey, we could be looking at more than 3,000 ”, Ong added.
