RGBA 6-STAG DERBY ROARS TODAY AT
ANTIPOLO COCKPIT
The second elimination round for the ongoing RGBA 2nd Leg 6-Stag Derby takes center stage today at the Antipolo Cockpit with 50 entries vying to join the opening day leaders in an exciting 75-fight program set to kick-off at 3:00 p.m.
Hosted by the Rizal Gamefowl Breeders Association, up for grabs is P900,000 cash prize for an entry fee of P6,600. Sponsors are Thunderbird Enertone – the first ready-mixed maintenance formula and Romoxtyl – tatayo ang manok mo.
Last Thursday opener produced eight unscratched entries with three wins out of three matches, composed of DNC (Dexter & Christopher Tiu), Sierra Madre Warrioes (Gen. Zubia), FRJ Mulanay Nov. 22 PSG (Carlos Borja) , B & O Nov. 11 1-Stag Derby Dec. 27 (Manolito Abo), MRT King Fireman (Pido Jarenci & Ruben Tan), Jopete (Joseph & Peter/Joey Sy), Edbu (Ed Bulaong) and reigining Bakbakan champion GRND Richelle (Engr. Ralph Daigo & Dr. Ronnie Magbalon).
Oct. 10 at Texas Cockpit Arena, RGBA fans will be treated to a piggyback derby which is a combination of the finals among those with scores of 0, 0.5, 1 & 1.5 points from the Pasig Square Garden and Antipolo Cockpit elims, to be joined by new entries and re-entries who will try to secure a berth for the grand finals on Oct. 13 at the Araneta Coliseum where those with scores of 2, 2.5 and 3 points will compete, including those vying for consolation prizes from tonight’s event.
The 3rd Leg is a 5-stag scuffle (2-stag elims/3-stag finals) with the eliminations set on Oct. 17 at the Araneta Coliseum and the finals at the Texas Cockpit Arena on Oct. 20 with a P1 million cash prize for an entry fee of P11,000.
